March 29 (ie. Sunday 9am-12pm): Windscreen and nets installation - volunteers appreciated! If possible, please bring ladder(s) and wire cutters (for zip-tie clipping). Coffee and snacks will be provided by Social Director Toni. N.B.: We were previously asking for Saturday set-up, but, morning temperature forecast of -5C will be too cold!

2026 National Bank Open will be held August 1 - August 13 at Sobeys Centre. This year, the WTA ladies will be in-town. Expect ticket discount offer information to be posted as our 2026 outdoor season progresses.

2027 - Our Club's 60th Anniversary Is Approaching!
From wooden rackets to graphite frames, Central Tennis Club has seen it all since 1967. As we approach our 60th Anniversary in 2027, we want to celebrate the community that makes this club home.
We are officially opening the floor for volunteers to help us prepare. We need help with:

Event Coordination: Planning the big gala and tournaments.

Club History: Gathering photos and stories from the last six decades.

Outreach: Helping us connect with former members.

Welcome to Central Tennis Club
For nearly 60 years, Central Tennis Club has established itself as one of Toronto's finest summer community clubs, offering a variety of programs to adults and juniors at all levels. Explore our website to learn more or come and check out our Club in person, nicely located in The Kingsway neighbourhood.
About Central Tennis Club
With three hard courts under lights and clubhouse facilities, we offer recreational tennis programs for adults and juniors at all levels with the help of a qualified Club Pro.

Operated entirely by volunteers, we welcome your comments, suggestions and support. Please join our activities, get to know your neighbours, and if possible become one of the volunteers.

We are open seven days a week, 7 am to 11 pm, between April and October. The courts are also open to the general public on Saturdays and Sundays from 8 pm to 11 pm.

Eric Cater Award
This award is presented to a member in recognition of outstanding contribution to Central Tennis Club.
Eric Cater was responsible for the construction of the clubhouse in 1971. Each year previous winners vote for the current season's honouree. See the plaques in the clubhouse for the winners throughout the years.
